Frequently Asked Questions

  • Adjustments are a great tool for decreasing pain and increasing range of motion temporarily. The traditional adjustment only model of chiropractic does not address the many factors which can cause musculoskeletal pain. At Higher Impactic Chiropractic and Sports Medicine, we take a look at the full picture. Along with chiropractic adjustments and soft tissue work…

We take the time to listen to your specific goals that will allow you to get back to doing the activities you love

We identify faulty movement patterns and muscle imbalances that are mechanically contributing to your pain

We retrain your body with body with targeted rehab and strength work so you can get to a point where you can manage your pain independently. This is where the “magic” happens which many traditional chiropractic clinics miss. Our goal is not short term relief: it is long term results.

  • Yes. Every visit is 100% one-on-one with Dr. Brody. You’re never being passed off to an assistant or being rushed through a high-volume system. Each session is an hour long with Dr. Brody’s undivided attention. This allows for a level of detail and results you just don’t get in traditional chiropractic clinics.

  • Most providers live on one side of the spectrum:

    • Chiropractic = passive care only  (adjustments, quick visits)

    • Physical therapy = rehab, but often generic or limited, not designed to your specific goals.

    We bridge the gap.

At our clinic, your care includes:

    • 30 minutes of passive care which may include

      • Chiropractic adjustments both spinal and extremity

      • Soft tissue work including but not limited to theragun, cupping, manual release technique, and fascial release.

    • 30 minutes of active care which may include

      • Goal-based rehab: exercises geared specifically towards your goals. Each exercise will have unique purpose directly relating to the activities you want to get back to. No more cookie-cutter exercises that don’t properly challenge your body in order to adapt.

      • Mobility Work: If your goals require more mobility, we will work together to increase your ranges of motion through exercise.

      • Strength Training: After you are out of pain, building strength will decrease the likelihood of reinjury and help to keep you out of reoccurring pain. This step is missed in many typical clinics.

You’re not just getting out of pain—you’re building a body that’s more equipped for an active lifestyle than before your injury. We aim to make a Higher Impact than your typical run of the mill chiroprtic or physical therapy center.

    • Identified the multifactorial nature of your pain. Musculoskeletal pain can be very complicated and many clinicians only address one aspect of your pain. At Higher Impact, we have higher standards. We look at the totality of the human body as well as the psychological and social aspects of your condition.

Given you a clear, progressive plan to help you not just get out of your pain cycle temporarily, but for good.
